Memorial Healthcare System has been serving South Florida since 1953 and is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading public healthcare systems. With a strong focus on patient- and family-centered care, Memorial is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare that truly reflects the needs of the communities it serves. As the system’s flagship facility, Memorial Regional Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Florida and offers a broad range of advanced medical services. These include the Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute, the Memorial Cancer Institute, and the Memorial Neuroscience Institute, all supported by nationally recognized physicians and innovative technology.

Memorial Healthcare System includes multiple hospitals and specialized facilities throughout Broward County and South Florida, including Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a leader in pediatric care for Broward and Palm Beach counties. Together, Memorial’s hospitals, outpatient services, home health programs, and long-term care facilities form a comprehensive network dedicated to moving health forward for patients and families across the region.

For 25 years, Florida Blue Foundation has been dedicated to creating healthier communities across the state. By investing in community-based programs and providing families with essential services and support, the Foundation makes a meaningful impact, reaching about 10 million Floridians each year. As the Foundation looks to the future, it remains committed to building a healthier Florida, continuing its legacy of improving lives and strengthening local communities for many years to come. In 2024, the Foundation provided 497 grants totaling $17.9 million to local communities, with a commitment to improve health by impacting food security, advancing mental well-being, and growing healthy communities.

PhilanthropyMiami serves as a convener and advocate for the nonprofit community in Miami-Dade County. Through collaboration, shared learning, and strategic partnerships, PhilanthropyMiami brings nonprofit leaders together to strengthen the sector and amplify collective impact. Guided by a belief in the power of collective action, PhilanthropyMiami works to ensure nonprofit professionals feel supported and organizations have the capacity to advance their missions. Their work contributes to a more just, equitable, and vibrant Miami, where the nonprofit sector is connected, resilient, and positioned to lead meaningful change.
